Just in time for the boat show season 2006/2007 Bavaria Yachts completely revised its successful model Bavaria 29 Sport. As the name already tells, the new model 30 Sport grew by one foot to 9,60 m but kept the sporty lines of its predecessor.
The differences show in the distribution on and below deck. The cockpit grew to provide a maximum of open air living space. The helm to starboard is equipped with a single seat for the skipper while the rest of the crew finds ample seating area and a nice cockpit table just opposite. A big solarium adjacent to the seating area covers the whole area to the stern and the integrated swimming platform but leaves a passage on the starboard side to enter the cockpit. Below the practical radar arch to starboard a wet bar with a sink and space for the optional electric fridge is installed.
The space down below is impressive for a boat of this size. There is a private cabin that covers up the stern area of the cabin. The salon is very generous due to the distribution with the pantry (electrical fridge, stove, sink) to port and the bathroom to starboard just beside the companionway. The seating area and table in the front part of the salon easily convert into a second double bed.
Battery charger, electric windlass, anchor and chain, bowthruster, electric flaps, radio-CD-player, loudspeakers in the cockpit etc. are already included in the standard equipment. The yacht is available with diesel or gasoline engines.
